How are yall mofos forgetting my boy Spears? Prior to his senior year, all he did was play basketball., Miles stated that he specifically looked real good in practice. 6'3 4.5 speed with a year in Cam's system and a hell of an athlete. Going to be the #2 or #3 WR next year and dominate.

I guess we are running 1 QB, 1 RB, 9 WRs next year

ETA - who needs a RB when you have a running QB.... 10 WRs

I agree, but the only unknown is will Jennings even be throwing it that much next year. I don't think they will pass nearly as much next year.

Mett has thrown the ball the least out of the top 53 QBs this year, but is 22nd in passing because of his high YPA. The offense Cam runs is centered around a lot of down field passing (10-15 yard routes and deep outs). As long as you have the WRs, this passing game will kill you on big plays.

in 2009 (JJ's true soph year) he rushed 112 times and passed 296 times through 12 games. Mett will most likely hit that same amount against Arky for his 12th game. Jefferson put up 2200 yards passing 17 TDs and 170 rushing 1 TD with Crowten at Co. Jefferson also had half the rushing game we do now.

I'd say Jennings no more than 80 rush atts with around 300 pass atts for a 13 game 2013 season. He'll finish around 2500-2600 passing with around 350 rushing.

At some point there is going to be major attrition at the WR position if LSU gets all these guys.

That said, all Quille needs to look at is how many WRs have been drafted from LSU during Miles tenure compared to Auburn in that same time frame.

2005 - Brazil, Green
2006 - Bowe, Davis
2007 - Doucet
2008 - Byrd
2009 - LaFell
2011 - Randle

So 8 players in 8 years.

Auburn has had 3 and none since the 2006 season.

Not to mention LSU could easily get 2 more top 2 rounders this season.

Magee, boo an of course fournette will be a hell if a stable with Williams being a big possibility.

So again, name a few true freshmen QB's, doesn't even have to be in the SEC, that has come in and led a team to a 10+ winning season.

IMO you start a true freshman QB if you have no other choice. Even if you were to game manager, I would believe an experienced guy would be better. Now if you look back though, some true freshman have put up great stats but their team was pretty bad elsewhere.

Dural played a lot this year and we have went four and 5 wide multiple times. Fournette, Magee, and Boo are known good receiving backs and with Jennings ability to scramble, Cam/Miles will be doing way more spread, option, shotgun, pistol.

IMO it will be

1. Quille, Dupre
2. Dural, Leslie
3. Spears, Diarse
4. Diarse, Quinn, Noil

Idk bout Leslie.

Quille and dupre and possibly spears will fill the void for tall WRs.

After that its all about hands, routes, and blocking.

Also smith will be flexed out wide in the slot in some packages.

Damn, we still gon be good.
