Amen. Getting drummed by Ole Miss in Jackson in the early 90s was just awful.

If he decommitted from IU why are we so surprised?

It is what it is. We are LSU and will continue to do our thing.

If anyone thinks it was the LSU bowl game performance should consider what ND did in their bowl game a few weeks after Thanksgiving.

The kid and his family saw the meltdown by the coaching staff and how they mishandled and managed a capable backup quarterback in J.Lee. The kid's dad found out what we all knew and that is Miles did not play to win the biggest game of the year for the team. It made our coaching staff look like a group of Bozo's regarding the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) decision that he made on last Monday night. I do not think kid is scared of Mett, it had to do with the bad management of the QBs. Say what you about J.Lee, he should played at least two or three series. The kid is looking at what if he were Lee, he would not have played. B.Kelly at
ND plays the QB with hot hand or who could move his offense, unlike Miles. It does not take genius to see this now. Our lost is ND gain. We all were excited to get Kiel; now
many of us are hating on him for going to ND. The kid is 18 and he is not bigger than LSU.

I agree worst wasn't the best choice of words. It has been very heart wrenching.

This is my problem. We have a lot to hold our heads high about but the truth is we watched both of those games and although playing in them was great but it's the way we lost that makes me wish we didn't play in them.

I mean Last secIng touchdown by niners I can live with. But then the defense coordinator baills. Landon Collins I can live with. But mostly becuase we had GK. losing to Bama I can handle but the way we lost was horrible. I would have rather not played that game than to endure that shite.

Of course we will survive GK and when spring comes we will all be back to normal but damn I just want the bleeding to stop.

Growing up in the state of Louisiana has always been fun and full of pride but you are right we have seen much worse days. 27-5 in state with SEC championships and NFC North championship isn't bad. We only lost one game in state and that was on neutral turf. Both teams are gonna be good for the next 4-5 years.

Don't be a doofus. Gunner had a 3pm meeting to attend today in Baton Rouge. How could she meltdown, if he had already left the city? He posted on the 11th that he was saying his final goodbyes at school. His brother left Indiana's team on the 14th. All these decisions were made last week

Not today

I've actually seen very little hate on here. However, with all due respect, sir, your comments are simply idiotic.

If you think for one moment that the absolutely pathetic coaching job at BCSNC and the way miles set the program back did not affect his switch your are naive be prepared to loose more recruits to Saban and better coaches to much negative press

why?

You found that link?

The one with Rueben's Dad saying Miles was the reason Randle is going pro?

Just curious.

The issue is not one 5* QB. It three potentially NFL type players that simply walked away from commitments. The common denominator for me is Les Miles! Look no further than him for creating this chit when he put one player above a team and program. You can talk about Mett all you want, until I see it, I will never believe it. The sad thing is- NS could have taken either team in the NC and beat the chit out of a Miles coached team. I hope like hell that Jones will be stupid enough to come get Lester. He will be back to Two Loss Les, beginning next year. With a padded schedule Les will lose two in 2012. Coaches will use his stupidity to recruit and win recruits against him. We didn't just lose a game monday night- we lost ground to Nick and Bama!

We'll dismiss the fact that we were the only undefeated team in the toughest conference.

Come on, man.

No. JJ and Lee are less "complete" QBs than Marcus Randal was, and we know how that went. Truth is, we would have been even MORE predictably conservative if NS coached this same team. If the teams were reversed, Les would be called a genius today.

From RR Scout article:

quote:

The thing I would cling to is this: Did LSU and its fans really want Kiel if he wasn’t 100% committed to being here? With the way this played out, who really thinks he would’ve been around for the long haul?

He is going to be Forcier/Mustain part 2

What I saw was Miles being forced to turn a good team over to Lee, and he did well. Then he had to start looking over his shoulder. Everyone knew it was coming. Lee was not treated as JJ was in '10. Struggle, but keep starting.

Lee would have won WKU and Ole Miss. So this 13 win season is only due to Lee setting the benchmark with no reward, because we saw what happened after that. Down 14 pts to Arky, 10 pts to Ga, 21 pts to Bama

The success of this team was Lee being ready in 2 weeks to win. Miles dismantled all of that in one weekend in Nov. Chavis gets credit for the D, Lee for the O. Where does that leave Miles?
