What?? Are you crazy or something? You'd have to be nuts to think that laying a complete egg and appearing to quit in the national championship game would have an effect on recruiting.
Do you think these kids care about things like whether or not they can trust the head coach to play the best player, not play favorites at the expense of trying to win a national championship, etc? Of course not, silly.

Yeah if i was gonna bolt because of a game i wouldnt wait till the day before i was to start there...i would have called wednesday or thurs and let them know...my point is the game had nothing to do with his decision

I don't know how anyone can blame the kid after watching that dumpster fire of a football game. He has to be asking himself why in the hell didn't Lee get in the game just like everyone else is asking. And getting no reasonable answer.

I keep searching the internet and try to read this thread for a definitive answer as to where Kiel is going. From what i can see no one knows for sure is that correct?
If so then why is everybody putting him down? What if he, or someone he knows is reading this thread? Would you want to come to a school where the fans are saying unflattering (to put it mildly) things about him? Might this thread help make him make him make the decision to go to ND. What if he's on the fence as we speak?
On the other hand, if he's waited for the last minute to screw us over he's Tigerbait. And that's putting it as kindly as i can. But if he's a Tiger, well, man I want him to be a Tiger.

So I just got home from work and skimmed this thread...
Is this the gist of it?
Gunner was supposed to show up today for an Early Enrollee meeting. He didn't show up.
No one officially knows why he didn't show up, but rumor has it he is enrolling at ND.
And that's about it. 30+ pages, but those two sentences pretty much sum up the facts, yes?
