No one is complaining about your # of scholarships. The fact that you are signing roughly 15 more players than you can take is what the fuss is about. How can you get credit for those guys when they'll never even go to Bama?

I could care less how much Bama signs. Obviously, Saban knows what he is doing or he wouldn't get that many kids.

They will (or at least 23-25 of them). It's not my responsibility to make the numbers happen, so I'm not fretting.

Not picking on Alabama, because a lot of teams do it, and LSU did it too. But its not fair to these kids. You shouldn't be able to sign more than 25 unless the spot is already open.

Hey, we aren't the ones who will have to deal with the future backlash from doing things like this. This will make two years in a row that Saban will have yanked scholarships from players to get more of "his" players in. This shows a lack of commitment on his part and is, quite frankly, shitty. This will catch up after next year in not only the players parents having doubts about his commitment to them but will also force Bama to actually sign a very small class after next season. That is about the time he bailed on us and Miles had to salvage what was headed toward being a very lackluster class.
