Has anyone considered that he's comming to LSU on an unofficial because LSU has maxed out on the number of official visits they could use this year...thus he REALLY wants to come?

While I have no idea what the numbers are, I seriously doubt that this is the case.

Yes there is. Without looking it up the number is roughly mid-fifties.

Because we lost out on Debose Campbell and Jackson and Bell, I think the karma is coming back around for LSU baby!!!
Brown to LSU!

Just looked it up.

According to Bylaw 13.6.2.6,
institutions are limited to 56 official
visits in football, 12 official visits in
basketball and 25 official visits in
baseball. Other sports have no
limitation on the number of official
visits.
However, based off of scout.com, LSU has had 38 official visits.

Im not sure if im really that interested in BB or is it the only football news we have right now to follow but ive been paying really close attention and at the edge of my seat waiting on the outcome

After listening to BB's mentor on the radio, I hope LSU doen't get BB. This kid and his "mentor" are going to be trouble. Can we say agent at 17. LSU does not need the distraction of this kid.

Brown unaware of scholarship expiration date
Bryce Brown told ESPN affiliate Web site InsideTheU.com he has not been informed by the Hurricanes that his offer has expired.
"Miami has not communicated that to me at all," Brown said. "Coach Shannon actually talked to my dad on Monday and my dad had a good conversation with him. After they touched base with each other, everything seemed to be alright."
Brown also responded to the criticism he's received from the drawn-out decision making process, "So just because people get mad and upset and think that I need attention, it's not like that. I've got to take the time to think about a decision that is going to affect me for the rest of my life. If people have a problem with that, oh well. I don't care because they don't have to get up and go to school every day. They don't have to get up and go to weights and conditioning and do all of that stuff. I'm the one that has to do that. All they have to do is sit back on the couch, eat popcorn, and watch us perform."

Didn't read all these threads, so I don't know if this was put on here yet!!

I disagree
What do kids need most these days? Father figures, Mentors? right?
think it about some, before we just assume this kid has the wrong motives as well as the Mentor..
I think people are looking at this all wrong

Who is his host? Or do you not get hosts on unofficials? Kid may be coming down to Mardi Gras to party. Not a bad idea for a young kid. Push sign date back and celebrate a little more.

this kid has parent, what in the hell would he need a mentor for to help him decide on which college to attend?
Posted on 2/21/09 at 6:00 pm to LSUfoosball
Somehow this just doesn' feel right. The kid is acting like a spoiled professional before college.

each other...

quote:Well, the "mentor" and at least one of his other proteges have admitted that the mentor advised him to lie about a scholarship offer from Miami. And if that's the stuff they've admitted to, it does not suggest to me that the mentor is a good influence on these kids.

Can you link that?
Brown said the Shannon talked to his father and everything was fine..
that seems believable to me
Why would the U suddenly run out of patience?

I think the basic take on this kid is:
"hope we get him, but if we don't it's perfectly okay"
