I thought it was a violation for pro players to be directly involved in the recruiting process..

I have faith in larry porter/miles/ and our slew of NFL talent that will be in BR this weekend to close the deal.

Is it confirmed that Addai among other former tigers will be in town for Brown's visit this weekend? If so, what other players?

wouldn't be surprised if miles pulled some strings to get some former players down to BR this weekend.

Addai can show off his superbowl ring

From Volnation:
I just heard that Lsu has a few of its old players in town from the NFL to talk to Bryce Brown not sure if this is true but it was from a buisness owner who I talk with who lives in Baton Rouge. He told me that Joseph Addai was in town from the Colts and is going to be on campus working out this weekend. Also Charles Scott the Big RB, Rueben Randle and Shepard will be his co-host. Hopefully we do not wake up Monday morning and hear that Bryce Brown has schedule a press conference. I still think there a 60 percent chance he goes to Maimi.

Anyone else heard this? Wouldn't this be a recruiting violation??

Only if Kiffin calls Brown while at LSU

This would be cheating.

Miles should pick up the phone and Text Kiffin back..

I havn't been keeping up with this saga. Do we stand any better with this kid than we did a couple weeks ago? He's making an unofficial to LSU this weekend right? And he announces next week?

I think we honestly have just as good a shot as anyone else. Even though there has been some cloudy areas, I still think Miami leads going into this weekend, but a good weekend here can easily tilt him our way.

According to the article on the first page, he is committing March 16th so we will have to wait a little bit for his announcement

Didnt Miami say they were done with him. I mean there was this ACC reporter on ESPN that said that.

"Since Miami begins spring practice today, let's start in Coral Gables. In regards to this story about the possibility of Bryce Brown not visiting Miami, let's get something clear: Miami is no longer interested in Brown. It's over, done. A source at Miami has confirmed this for me, which is why it's no surprise LSU is suddenly in the picture for that last visit."

Yeah, but as I said, I feel that there are still some cloudy areas surrounding that because he is still visiting Miami after us

Is that a marijuana reference or are you serious? He graduated from LSU when BB was 6 years old so there is no frame of reference there. Also, I know Faulk has been in the league for a long time but he is a third down back. While he has been a great contributor and probably the most underrated player in N.E. through their run, I am not sure how well known he is outside of Patriot and LSU fans.

Bryce Brown will sign with LSU. After reading everything he wants in a school, and what we have to offer him. I don't see how he doesn't choose us unless he absolutely hates the staff and the campus....the weather is great outside today. I don't see that happening

It is now an official visit..

Announces on the 16th of March

Getting conflicting info on Miami

Some are reporting they (Miami) are done with him...which is why LSU is now an official..

Other reports say, no, he is still interested and has a funeral next week to attend, so he may not visit Miami...If he does it will be an unofficial visit..

LSU is looking real good right now IMHO
