Understand your concern Tiger322, but don’t think you should be too worried about Emery. Will Campbell and Walker Howard going to see to it that he’s a Tiger. Believe he commits to the good guys before summer ends.

Right. Emery jones is the last player you should be worried about.

For those interested: what the Texas side is hearing (and not from Roach, but from guys with better track records) for shared targets..

Campbell and Banks are Texas leans (Perroni thinks A&M leads for Banks, but that's not what we're hearing, and frankly, we don't take his info very seriously)

Texas is behind Ohio State, A&M, and OU for Dewberry

Texas is behind for Agbo (LSU) and Greene (Ohio State)

Neto's recruitment is just getting started, and it's unclear who he likes early; probably one to wait until he takes his visits to revisit. He doesn't really tip his hand. In the past, Allen was an OU feeder school, but Riley might have recently burned that bridge

There are a few other targets who Texas is in on, but LSU isn't really after them (Hutson, Robertson, Cam Williams)

I don't see Agbo ending up at LSU. I think LSU has a better shot with Banks than the Aggie and Horns writers think..

What's the reason?
I myself don't think they'll take him as an OT....I think they will land either Banks or Armella...

I could see us taking Agbo as a G alongside Emery Jones tho...

Or you just think he will fade off in interest due to distance?

Too soon buddy. Too soon. Although I have flashbacks when I see the new Armella pics on Rivals.com.

100% agree with you on all of this Capt.

Agbo just seems ‘interested’ in everyone end it really is a long distance from Washington state to Louisiana.

We NEED Banks, Armella, Dewberry, Greene, &/or Neto, and potentially Moreau depending on how he his evaluation goes from June 5 camp.

Give me...
1. Will Campbell
2. Emery Jones
3. Bo Bordelon
4. Lucas Taylor OR Kaden Moreau, &
5. Banks, Armella, Dewberry, Greene, or Neto

And I will be a happy camper!!

Do you think Bordelon by another name would have been on LSU"s board?

I don't follow recruiting that close year-round. Do we have a realistic shot with this guy? Would be pretty badass to get him and Campbell.

We've got a shot for the mere fact that he's coming on an OV. However, it may be hard to pull him from the state of Texas. Cregg would earn a lot more trust getting either Banks, Armella, or Dewberry.

O recruited armella's dad back when he was a player.

I think he is the tackle we have the best shot at.

Amen, Chalky. 100% agree. Below is a copy of a post I made several weeks ago regarding Armella’s recruitment.

Yeah, RedStick2020, I have been beating the “Julian Armella” drum for a little bit - and it’s just because the things I’ve been reading consistently point to LSU having a legitimate shot with him.

A quick overview of the points I’m referring too are as follows:

1. First thing, J. Armella reported that James Cregg has made a ‘big impression’ on him early on in the process, & they been building solid relationship for 6-8 months now,

2. Armella has been quick to point out how he’s close friends with Marcus & Marlon, and that he’s received positive reports about LSU from them. Also, he points to the these guys being able to see the field quickly (albeit, in limited capacities) and always mentions being interested in early PT himself,

3. Then, learned that the word coming from Armella’s camp was that he wants to head OOS for college, and that LSU & Bama we’re starting to stand out the most to him, and

4. Lastly, Armella has been adamant about wanting to visit LSU. He recently stated that visiting his top schools is essential to him, b/c he believes spending some time on each campus will provide the opportunity for him to determine which program he is most comfortable with and makes him feel at home.

EDIT for Newest Tidbits most recently discovered:

5. Armella’s father, Enzo, was recruited by ‘O’ to Miami when he was the D-Line coach for the Hurricanes. Despite choosing FSU, Enzo knows/respects ‘O’ and his coaching style. This connection sounds like it has real potential to benefit LSU

6. Armella recently reported that he is visiting Bama the week after LSU, but the OV hasn’t showed up yet on Bama TOS site. If he doesn’t end up visiting Bama after us, would take it as a positive sign for the good guys

He would. Bordelon is going to be a player. Don't worry too much about that weight. It's "well managed" and good mass is/will be put on as his body matures. He might top out at 290 lbs, but that's just fine with good athleticism and great strength. Between Bo and his Mom (and Dad) you won't have to worry about going off-plan (always a concern with linemen).

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'll take good feet and mass to put on everyday over bad weight and even worse feet.

Bordelon's name put him on the radar for sure. But his name didn't earn him a scholarship. If he wasn't worth a scholarship he would have received a PWO offer. But he's worth one.
