I don't see jaluke leaving texas tech but stranger things have happened.
We'd give him a massive raise, he'd have a higher profile job at a better program, he'd be in his home state, and he'd get to coach Fournette for his last year in a run heavy offense with a good OL.
I'd have to think that would be too much to turn down.

Now with signing day behind us, who are we looking at to replace Frank?
Call in the show and ask Hanny. He seems to be in the sharing mood.

Jaluke or Smith would have to be the top two choices IMO

He signed more recruits out of New Orleans this year than Wilson.
That's misleading in that we passed on those guys.....

Curtis johnson title with the saints is Senior wide receiver assistant coach. What ever that means

I really really hope his name is not Larry Porter

I mean, why would Jaluke not leave TTU for LSU?
He would. In a heartbeat. I think Les wants a guy he has already worked with, or has more experience recruiting in the SEC.

Why?

Michael Smith recruited the hell out of New Orleans.
I believe he was the first choice until...He did some negative recruiting against Les & LSU. I'm hearing Les wasn't to thrilled about it. It would take some smoothing over IMO. Look for David Johnson to be in the mix. I'm still holding out hope for Curtis Johnson though.

Can we send Muddbone to offer him? How would the fan base like that?

The name Jabbar Juluke was mentioned over a dozen times in this thread and only one poster spelled the man's name correctly. Congrats, Caterpillar.

Jaluke or Johnson on the top two. Why is Ball still on the staff?

I was also the first to mention it and no one used my correct version

He's gonna keep doing it as long as he's recruiting for a conference opponent in Louisiana. I would hope they could get past that. I even thought I read one of Muddbone's post calling Smith his dude? That may have been tongue in cheek though.

I guess the new OC is bringing one with him.
