Looking at 24/7, we are not in the running for any of the highly-rated guys. Where are we going as DBU?

Safety is really not a need this year

Easy fix. Sign 4 or 5 corners because if Greedy leaves we will be in trouble again next year. Then, move Joseph back to safety.

We'll likely sign 5-6 DB's this class, most of them being corners. I'm sure 2 safety's will emerge this summer in camps or during the fall that will come here.

Dave Aranda is tinkering with one of the Lb/S hybrid position so I know they are looking to fill that position with a Marcel Brooks type of player. I'm just not sure exactly what they want there in that position.

We have good depth there. Not really a big need. I'm sure they'll still take 1-2 there with all the DBs we'll likely target. Maybe some hybrids. Either way, it's not really a big deal right now. CB is. Joseph might move back to S after this season anyway for all we know.

2 of those need to be JUCO and then 3 no doubt AA type that play at a high level immediately.

Marcel would definitely fill that role if he has the speed, which it appears he does.

I'd say move Cam Lewis into the hybrid linebacker position like he did Corey Thompson. I just dont see him getting much playing time at safety this year and next.

Can Lewis is too small for that role. Now Jacoby Stevens? Yea he’s got the perfect build and athleticism for a hybrid LB/S
