To be honest I thought our line played about as well as usual. I know Baylor isn’t regarded as having a great d line but am interested to hear from someone who knows how they graded out.

Not too bad, but until we show that we can score a TD from inside the 5-yard line with multiple attempts, I will doubt the oline

Excited to see Weston Davis and Cohel Echols after another offseason in the weight room and spring ball
Hope we can keep onto the young guys with the portal to develop. Echols seems nasty out there.
Thought Adams did pretty great at LT but I don’t think it was much of a stress test in comparison to the typical SEC pass rush we will face next year
I think the biggest take away is our portal guys are both multi position guys and I’d expect anyone else coming on board to be as well. Gives us the ability to just find the best 5 and cross train a few of these guys to account for potential injuries. We had incredible injury luck up front until the final couple games, so need to keep as much depth as humanly possible with the transfers and recruits

this has to change, and will eventually.
No time like the present. Why waste another year like we had this year and last year.

Echols - FR
Lee Jr. - FR
Mubenga - RS FR

That's scary- definitely need several experienced upperclassmen if we are serious about a playoff run next year...

I'm thinking Kelly is looking more seriously at the "uber"-experienced guys for Game 1 vs Clemson. … Losing your opener is waaay too big of a deal … I think Kelly has finally learned the truth.
what?? kelly’s problem has been putting TOO much emphasis on experience to start the season and not getting the best players on the field until it’s week 5 and we’ve already lost a game or two. Hell, some of the young guys we played in our final two games this year looked like they should’ve very clearly been on the field all along. At some point you have to trust the young guys to step in - you can’t keep shoving them out or you’re going to lose them and then find yourself in a position where you have no choice but to rebuild every season
