BTW in regards to the video that has been linked which had broken down his body language and and facial expressions to determine where he will go has anybody actually watched the part of the only credible person on there, B Simmons.
Simmons list 3 places that RN will be successful in college. Two of them can be done at UA. One the 5 technique as a 3-4 DE and the other as an OLB in a 3-4. The only one in a 4-3 was the 3 technique which is a DT in a 4-3. A position RN does not want to play. He said he has to decide between playing as a DE or LB in college.
So my take it appears that UA is in front and only hold up is what he will play at UA.

If the only hold up is what position he would play at alabama... how is that a hold up. Holding up isn't going to change where he would play at alabama?
So he goes to alabama if he is convinced LB is right for him. And he goes to alabama if he is going to be on the line. But he won't commit until he knows which.
I can see it now. Saban says you will play LB. RN says whew, ok because if I was going to be on the line I would have gone to alabama instead.

In truth it has. To be honest whoever gets him will be very happy and who does not will be very unhappy. But one program will be very lucky IMO with his ability.
Again I do not care what CU, OM, or MSU thinks it is a UA vs LSU at this point for him. He is not stupid and no matter what position he wants to play the one thing I am confident of is he wants to win games and championships, and only those 2 programs can offer that.

I definately am not trying to chip you here. I do think RN ends off at Bama though this is recruiting and LSU definately has a very real shot. And I'm no recruiting expert but unless I'm reading wrong this Simmons part does not seem credible. If he can be successful at OLB in a 3-4 then he can definately be successful at DE in a 4-3. I myself believe he can be successful at all four of those spots with OLB being the least likely but I'm not going to doubt it. But regardless that is an opinion of Simmons and not a very logical one at that. But what really matters is where he believes he can be successful. And if he likes DE in a 4-3 and LSU will give him a chance then RN's is the only opinion that matters. I believe his best position would be a 4-3 DE but that is only my opinion.
