Keep in mind, if we start chasing guys like this, we run the risk of guys like Womack leaving. Lets be a little more patient. Our title run year isn't 2024, its 2025 (Nuss's 2nd year).

You do not recruit out of fear, only to advance a position. If a player leaves due to competition then he never should have been apart of this program.

Fair enough. But I'd rather build for the long term like Georgia, than piece mill it together every season through the portal like Ole Miss.
If we have a hole, fill it, but dont fomo chase every player who enters the portal. Right now, we need DL and CB.

Going for the pure mercenaries positions you for a huge letdown or incredible embarrassment... look no further than FSU for an example.
