Well, Mason Smith early in the hire said he had a better relationship with staff since Pelini was hired.

Explain please im obviously lost and have not been paying attention.

I understand raesjon, foreman, and another socal player all went to check out her edwards program n arizona. But your implying this is coming about bc pelini is getting fired? Or bc pelini is not getting fired?

From what I've heard raesjon obviously found out they are firing bo

Like any recruit I'm guessing it was a shock and that's why there was talk about him pushing his date back

I think raesjon and maason will still both be at LSU

more like they are still on board because they trust to coach O to make a better hire

He won’t be here so it doesn’t matter

Yea apparently he has pretty decent relationships with the recruits. Moreso than Aranda as well. Probably why more connection to Terrence Lewis started as Pelini was supposedly recruiting him hard (albeit his off field issues, he’s a stud). You can’t seriously fire your DC after one year and think it doesn’t affect recruits

The way coach O runs this program means that coordinators will almost never stay long term. They will either be home runs or duds that get hired off or fired. We have to pitch to guys early and often that they need to just trust the school and head coach that things will always be worked out.

If he's really thinking about it Coach O is trying to get these recruits a better system to play in with better coaching. If the rumors of Bo being true they should be ecstatic about him leaving.

I’d have to disagree. Most players he’s coached love him and vouch for him. He’s just coaching against the deck with little to no help from the head coach.

His system isn’t terrible. He just hasn’t had time to teach it. You don’t just forget how to be a good football coach. A conceding point is why aren’t our players in shape? Why can’t they tackle? Why does the secondary get beat so bad? These are all issues that come from either other coaches (that have been there) and are issues with program structure.

Ehh, Pelini is the reason they are getting beat to an extent. O’s mandate was to double DeVonta Smith and make the other receivers beat them and what happened? Smith scored on a bunch of go routes in one on one coverage against Flott.

It’s incredible hard to double team someone in the slot though. Even having safety help because Busch has our safeties playing with dementia

It’s not 100% his fault because neither are a Jamal Adams or delpit, but don’t sit and blame coaches and not blame him too
