It is, as in Kelly is going to be intentional in the spending of it. I assume that he's taking several things into account before deciding how much to write the check for. LSU will fill the class, this is par for the course. Wait until these players enter their final seasons before you start freaking out. There are always some that seemingly come out of nowhere their senior seasons and end up on the squad anyway.

Aren’t we on like a 3 day roll of BOOMS? We will get a QB, if not we have the transfer from state and next year looking good.

It’s better to sign 15 quality high school kids and save the rest of your NIL for portal players who have already proven themselves. Let other schools sign 25 and “win” the recruiting title. Then recruit their studs, who pan out, in a year or three.

I hate to say it but I think the 2026 QBs are afraid of the 27 QBs in the LSU list
