Most electrifying player in the 2010 class

Lamarcus Joyner, DB from Dade County
This is by far one of the most jaw-dropping highlight reels of a recruit that I have ever seen. I just hope to hell this kid doesn't end up at UF... he's not thrilled with the U apparently and has tOSU/FSU at the top right now.

awesome highlight tape but i mean you can't tell too much from that. He is a tiny midget that can hit hard and run but can he cover?

I am saying this kid will be a bust from the 2010 class.
He is really undersized and I am not a huge fan of his attitude. I just don't see the kid being a freak like his ranking would suggest.
It is an absolute joke to have had Patrick Peterson ranked almost identically to this kid.
Peterson is on another level.

probably should be listed as an Athlete... he showed a little bit of everything with a gear that no one else has, knockout hitting ability like you mentioned, and some insanely quick cuts.
could easily be a star on offense at the next level (especially in Florida's system)
or as a little enforcer on defense like Major Wright

He is being looked at as a CB from everything I have read.
He has some good speed and agility, but as a defensive prospect I see "bust."
He is nowhere near a top 10 recruit on offense. He does have some skills but more of a top 250 recruit (because of pure speed).
I guess you can say I am not too high on this kid.

Best offensive highlight from the 2010 that comes to mind is Da'Rick Rogers.
He'll be a 5 star by the end of the year. I couldn't believe he wasn't in the top 100 the first time I saw his video (he has since moved up).

yeah obviously I was wowed by Seastrunk's highlights as well as others in this class such as Jeff Luc, but Joyner's just blew me away to be honest.

Jordan Hicks for defense.

I guess there are no CB in the NFL that are 5'8.

Darius Butler was the #3 prospect at CB in the last draft and he was just over 5'10.
Alphonso Smith was the #4 prospect at CB in the last draft and he was 5'9.
D.J. Moore was the #5 prospect at CB in the last draft and he was sub 5'9.
Roughly a 5th of the guys drafted in the draft came in at 5'9. Since he is going into his senior year he could quite possibly still be growing and there are still 5'8 CBs in the league regardless.

i'll tell ya what.....after seeing some of Trovon Reed's tapes, one would think he could get some votes as most electrifying....i don't know but LSU must lock Trovon up...

It was good, but i dont think it was that great. I thought Tharold Simon had a better film for sure. Jeff Luc has the best on defense for sho.

This kid has a great video but I have to agree that I don't like his attitude at all. When this kid gets interviewed all I hear is IIIIIIIIII. A player like that can kill a team faster than anything.

well if he is just a DB than it doesn't really matter how electrifying he is and I'm saying this without having watched his highlights yet

My first thought as well.
Don't know why you don't like Joiner though. He is an FSU lock and even I will admit he is the best cb in this class.

I would love for this guy to cover a Julio Jones or Rueben Randle, no chance.
