Yes, weighed 220 lbs officially at the Army Combine, and 222 lbs at the Nike Combine.

2) His film looks great because he is breaking arm tackles (and throwing around) small, white boys. I want to find out what classification he is in--ETA: evidently the highest from a previous post, but looking at the guys in his highlights, consider me unimpressed by the athletes on the defensive side of the ball.
Lynx, he plays at Princeton HS...its a private cath. school of about 1500 boys and is 5A. A guy from Ohio said that school is bad to the bone. They put alot of kids into D1 ball. He also said that District is very tough.

From your link.. We dodged a bullet and sent Saban a nutjob at the same time..

Luther Davis sets the record straight
The LSU community has been buzzing all day over the comments that star
defensive end West Monroe Luther Davis allegedly made to a recruiting analyst
who writes for a website that covers Notre Dame athletics for another
recruiting service.
In that story, Davis was quoted as saying that Notre Dame was easily his
top choice and the story reportedly went on to make it sound like he was
totally trashing LSU and head coach Les Miles.
Well, after numerous e-mails and phone calls from Tiger Rag subscribers we
decided to give Davis a call to get his side of the story and my what a
different version we got.
“This guy writing about Notre Dame called and I don’t know where he got his
stuff from,” Davis told Tiger Rag. “He said that I said all kind of stuff
about Notre Dame being my top school and making it sound like I was totally
ragging on LSU. The thing about it too is that LSU never even came up when we
talked except when he asked who my top schools were.
“I called him back today and asked him about it and he was like don’t worry
about it nobody is going to read that story anyway. I told him he shouldn’t
have done that and now I will not be talking to that guy anymore.”
Davis said that he received a text message from LSU offensive line coach
Stacey Searels around lunch time asking him about it and he had no idea what
Searels was talking about. He immediately went to the library at West Monroe
to read the story and when he saw it he was in a state of shock.
“I couldn’t believe it,” said Davis. “I’ve worked so hard to get to where I
am now and then this guy tried to ruin it all for me in one day. I had coaches
from LSU, Ole Miss and Florida State text messaging me wanting to know what
was going on.”
I promised Davis I would let him set the record straight on how he feels
about LSU and now how he feels about Notre Dame and this is what he had to
say.
“To say that I would commit to Notre Dame if coach (Charlie) Weis called me
is just not true,” he said. “Notre Dame is nine hours away from home and I
don’t want to go more than five hours away from home.
“I mean I live in Louisiana and it goes without saying that I’m a big LSU
fan. I was badly misquoted and there is not anything I could ever say bad
about LSU. I like LSU a lot and I like coach Miles and coach Searels a lot.
LSU is a great school and would be a great place to play.”

I wasn't commenting as much on his own team. I was referring to a lot of the boys he is juking and throwing down in the film.

He is definitely a good prospect, and I understand why he is ranked where he is, but (ever since the first time I watched his film months ago) I have never had the 'warm feeling' about him.

Maybe it is just me. I give my opinion on any prospect that is ever asked about on this board, so it is only a matter of time until the board disagrees with me on a few (i.e. Josh Downs).

I pretty much disregard the sites evaluations when I watch film and read up on guys, so I could easily be wrong--and I'll always admit it if I am wrong.

His cutting ability/quickness appears to be his best quality IMO.

I wish there was more than just one clip of him running out of the RB position.

I completely agree about the more film at RB.

Storm must have wanted to commit but also wanted to continue to take visits. Miles told him if he wants to continue to take vists, then he couldn't commit now.

There was never a deal to keep the commitment silent. That makes no sense.

don't like the way this whole debacle went down.

It's not just that we lost out on a top quality back, but I really think the staff went about this the wrong way.

The coaching staff took the player they valued most. Plain and simple. They had Ware rated higher and took his commit and no longer had room for Storm. They get paid to make the hard choices and are accountable to the fans for winning. They did what they had to do.

Bottom line is they never accepted the commit from Storm so he never had a real offer. He was the back up plan all along but it never came to that. No one knows exactly what was said to him or his family so people should not be upset about the way someone was treated if you don't know exactly what was said.

This is from an Ohio St. poster. He was at Cincinnati Princeton H.S. last year who plays in arguablly the toughest H.S. football city in the U.S. He transferred to Cincinnati Colerain for this coming season and will be playing against and with the best of the best in Ohio this season. Teams like St. Xavier, Moeller, Elder, and Lakota West. This is from Ohiotigerfan on Tigerdroppings. He plays in Div 1, which is the largest classification. Princeton High School is a large public school.

The team has 4 to 5 quality players and the rest are just average. Ware is the entire team.

They are in the same conference as Colerain (state power) & they regularly play Moeller.
Here is another from Ohiotigerfan. Princeton is probably ranks between 8 & 12 in the city & Top 20 in the state. Wares team is ranked 8 to 12 in the city, but are still top 20 in the state. He plays against great competition. I usually agree with you Lynx, but not this time.

Any idea if those are the teams that are in his highlight reel? JW.

Thanks for the post, btw!
