OK guys here is the story I have heard.

First of all, Montrell was not playing very good in fall practice and was pushed all of the way down to 4th string due to his lack of pass blockind and lack of effort at practice.

Also staff mentioned switching him to LB and thats what put him over the top and made him leave.

He is currently at Copiah-Lincoln community college in Wesson, MS (where my mom teaches at) and will play for them this year. I will try to get information from people I know there on Montrell.

I spent a good bit of time with his mentor yesterday.Otherwise, I'm too stupid to post on this Board.

his offer sheet wasn't too impressive

Did you really just say that? LSU has like 10 guys on the team and their offers sucked!

I linked the article I read which listed a couple top tier schools, but I didn't realize how good his offers were until I looked at his Rivals profile.

I think the kid is at least good enough to play at Tech - going to ULM and playing in front 5k would be sad for him.

He needs to see the writing on the wall and just switch to LBer.

No kidding. He played in front of larger crowds at Ouachita.

Not fair - rain-stormed during 4 of 5 home games for ULM last year. We'd had at least 6000 if not, and didnt try to exactly match LSU's schedule every fricking week.

(6000 was a joke by-the-way).

i mean going from monroe to mississippi is going backwards in evolution. I am surprised more louisiana natives stick it out at miss st and ole miss.
