First of all I know Mickey personally and he is a great kid. He actually plays at a rival school to me. The kid has swayed a few times on recruiting but hell he had 30 offers and he's 18 years old trying to make a crucial decision that most of us on here never had the chance to make. My personal opinion...Mickey can play d-line but I truly think he would be a great off. guard, over 300lbs, great great feet...low center of gravity because of his power lifting which by the way he was the state champ.Very strong young man..I wish him the best and will be pulling for him wherever he goes..

While I understand our depth at DT, we are young. And 1 more massive body couldn't hurt. But I'm not the coach. Maybe they know something about TJ that we don't. CJs scholly is open though. Do we use it or wait until next season...

People have been denigrating him all season because he hasn't been slurping LSU all year long, but this kid is a stud, period.

He will not play DT at LSU. Mark my words. He will play Guard or Center and be dominant.

We are not coaches here but we all love talking football. Who knows what the future holds for Mickey?? Right now it looks great, free college and a part of a huge nationally respected football program..Congrats. My opinion which usually doesn't amount to shite as my wife says.....is I see Mick in the NFL at Guard or center....Right now I'm a Mandeville dad very happy for an SPS hero and you won't see that very often...Go Mick!!

MJ is way too short to play guard or center...

same reason we did not recruit Patrick Lewis a few years ago and he went t to ATM...

Yeah, just goes to show you that you can't believe everything you read or hear regarding recruiting. When the board draft "experts" thought MJ was going elsewhere, you heard little positive about him. Just goes to show you that you should hold back on some comments until everything is settled.

The kid is built perfectly for a 4-3 defensive tackle. I think you're wrong.
