I'll see him when Union plays them. I didn't really notice him when they played W. Monroe. Their line got beat up pretty good that night.

Pretty sure I coached him in YMCA ball. Havent seen him since then but would make sense. My son is a sophmore.
Do you know if Mitch played for Swartz by chance?
Sorry for the hi-jack

I’m pretty sure he did that’s where they lived when he was young. He’s got football in his blood. His dad was on the state runner up team for Jonesboro Hodge in 1990

Rosebud, I played for a team called Pickering in 1990. JH beat us in the quarterfinals. I thought they went on to win the state championship that year. We were really the only team that played them close. They had an OL that was being recruited heavy by ND that year and had an awesome RB and a pretty good QB.

I thought so. That's good to hear. I like Mitch. Very nice kid. He was too nice as a youngster and had trouble getting aggressive. Sounds like he has learned how to be aggressive. I'll be pulling for him. Thanks Rosebud

He made it to campus so they know who he is. Good luck to the young man.

Nah they won three in a row ‘87, ‘88, ‘89 and lost in the dome in ‘90
