Me too!! I know a couple years ago people were bitching about LM but I think where LSU is now shows that if you give some coaches the time to change the culture of the program to what they are trying to install the results can be great. All LM needed to do was learn which assistant coaches worked the best for him. He already had all the other pieces.

Again, if anyone thinks Collins went to Alabama for reasons other than the girlfriend are fooling themselves. It's hilarious that people think otherwise. There's absolutely nothing Alabama cam offer that LSU can't.....except that one specific chick.

Well, I think the driving factors were his girlfriend and immediate playing time at Bama. With Mark Barron slated to leave, he'll be competing for the starting safety job next year. LSU has so much depth in the secondary. If he comes to LSU he won't get as much playing time as he would at BAMA next season.

People who believe this are idiots. Barron's leaving, yes, but so is Brandon Taylor. To act like Bama has no one behind Barron is just foolish. He's going to have to compete for playing time wherever he goes.

LSU's secondary and Bama's secondary have the same amount of depth so I don't want to hear it. Its obviously the girlfriend that made the decision

I'm a little upset by this whole ordeal, which stinks every bit as much as the trovon reed and greg robinson recruitments the last two years. The common denominator is au & al, the two most penalized schools in the history of the NCAA. And the worst part about it is that it doesn't appear that the sense of entitlement and good ol boy mentality that fosters these underhanded recruiting tactics will stop anytime soon as long as the sec offices remain in Birmingham. A guy like Les, who is by all accounts a very decent man and clearly wants no part of this dirty south recruiting game has a clear disadvantage in a head to head recruiting battle against these schools. Just ask Ms St. One of the bama staff mentioned that 'they had their hooks into Landon Collins like no one else could.' Statements like that pretty much typify the gamesmanship and lack of sportsmanship and integrity that is engrained in the fiber of football in alabama. Throw in all of the cheating on the field and it's obvious how they get down

lc has a right to choose where he wants to go but when a kid (urged on by a college coach) intentionally lies to his parents then that is something else. if lc was ala. for 2 years then I don't think they would have provided the benefits to the gf. if they had him then they didn't need her.
