We had the #4 scoring offense in the SEC last year w/ over 30 points per game.
And we accomplished that with Hatch and Lee as our QBs. No offense, I like those guys, but neither is a John Parker Wilson. I think Crowton is doing just fine.

I honestly think Lache could come in, and if not start, at least get half of the carries and be a helluva force for the offense..we'd be scarier than tebow and his offense last year..consider this:
WR Randle-Molton-Trovon Reed
WR Toliver-Justin Hunter-Mike Davis(whoever gets the starting spot)
RB Seastrunk/Ford/Murphy
FB Ridley
QB Jordan Jefferson/Russell Shepard
TE Deangelo Peterson/Alex Russian
I mean DAMN...wer'e stacked either way you look at it but lache would bring a new demension to the offense..
randle, toliver and the new guys grabbing passes from jefferson..shep running the wild tiger or fooling the shite out of the linebackers by faking a run and throwing to a wide open Deangelo peterson...Lache seastrunk the speed back, gobbling up HUGE chunks of yardage, Mike Ford the power back churning it up on 3rd downs,a little richard murphy, and ridley,d.allen, and b.worle paving the way..
damn the future looks bright...and from everything ive seen lache is a great kid and has one of the brightest futures ive ever seen a kid have..he's going to be a heisman player somewhere..i just hope it's the REAL TIGERLAND!!
come on down lache

While eating lunch at a Burger King in Little Rock at 11:00 AM wearing my National Championship hat, I had a few guys visited with me. They noticed Texas plates & LSU hat so they wanted to know where we lived. Once they found out we were from Temple. They first said MD is better than Lache. Then they said MD is a Arkanas lock and now Coach P is going after Lache. I asked do they want Lattimore and the reply was that Lattimore would slow down an offense that has MD & LS. Just thought you AU boys would like to know where at least MD is going and now LS is now going to be the focus now.

So Dyer is def a lock now since you talked to 2 Arkansas hicks at a Burger King

FWIW Tiger Fans in Memphis area. My son will be playing his electric guitar on stage tonight at the B.B. King Blues Club sometime after 8:00.

Born-Since you are very close to LS, have there be a discussion about his team goals? Or should I say his future team goals? I will be following his recruitment as I did RS this past year. Personally I think Lache will become a Tiger of the LSU variety. My interest in this is because of my nephew from california that has relocated here. He is a going to be a freshmen this fall, 6'1 185lbs dual threat qb. He will be staying with me and he will be attending a school that doesn't really run the type of offense catered to his abilities. Even though they have won multiple state championships in the last 5 years. I wanna put some film up on him from last season in cali because if he attends the school in my zone, he would be doing nothing but handing the ball off.

Lache did tell me the other day a couple of SEC schools have stepped up their presence just recently. The schools were not the usual suspects. So it falls in line with what I know to be true.

Dyer is going to end up at Arkansas; else I'll be very surprised.

Born-well my nephew will be following the recruitment of LS, so far he is shocked about the passion of some people on this site, but I also have shown him how RS handled his situation, so that he can get a different perspective of the recruiting process. But i like how you don't push LS one way or the other. Because in a few years, I will probably be sitting here being amazed at the rumors circulating about my nephew.

I can't say that we have talked about his goals lately, so I will let the pay sites cover that. I can tell you to remind him that GOD wants him to improve on the talents (gifts) given him. Also remind him that the second most important gift behind redemption is our brain.

well on both of those fronts he is covered. 8am service every Sunday and as far as his brains, he is bringing with him a 3.7gpa. Next summer he will begin taking the ACT. Being that I have coached many AAU basketball players in my program, I know that it is wise to take the test as soon as possible. Every player that comes thru the program has to do that, now as far as this football recruiting, i can already see its a different animal. but i also have noticed that every year you have recruits that have to wait on test scores, i can assure you, this will not be the problem with my nephew. But thanks for the advice. Also, i would give this advice to LS, "while there are many Different fomulas for success, there is one Definite formula for failure, which is; Trying to please everybody"

While I think LSU is in good shape to land Lache, he should know that he needs to go where he feels comfortable. I would hate to go somewhere because I think I'm somehow beholden to. . .
I'd be miserable for years.

discipline-I, too agree that LSU is in good shape with Lache. What I like about RS is the leadership qualities he displayed through the whole process. With me being a Marine, those qualites stick out, and those are the qualities that i would like for my nephew to attain. And he is pretty much on his way there. Well i wish the kid well in whatever choice he will make, of course hopefully its with the purple and gold, and again like i tell my nephew, "Destiny is not a matter of Chance, but a matter of Choice, because it's not a thing to be Awaited for, it's a thing to be Achieved."

It is very important to remind them of that. With all the snake oil salesmen and new best friends telling him that he is the best thing in a hundred years. You have to fight for him against the users of kids. You may even become the bad guy, but remember "in an immoral society the moral appear immoral."
Good luck!!

Auburn has offered Dakota Mosley, it changes everything.
Unless Arkansas offers Mosley, IMO, they're both likely headed for the plains.

That does indeed throw a wrench into the situation. Mosley isn't exactly an SEC caliber player; but if he can help bring in Dyer I would take the utilitarianistic stance on the matter and be happy with it.
