Really interested in learning more about this recruit. Offer sheet is staggering. Hope LSU can hold on thru NSD, kid with this much interest will continue to receive it.

His stats are very comparable to Rueben's during his junior year, and he certainly has some great offers. Does anyone know why Texas passed on him?

Looks like we are off to a very solid start for the 2010 class.

Anyone who hasn't look up his junior highlights. Unreal. I am talking Dez Bryant good. (Only a different style WR, of course.)

I don't know that he will be rated a 5 star guy, but he is 5 star caliber on tape. I think getting this guy early is almost as big as getting RS early last year, I'm pumped.

Randle had 55 receptions for 1038 yards and 11 TDs.
Mike Davis 58 receptions for 1138 yards and 16 TDs.

Here are some basic stats and his offer sheet

I realize that high school stats aren't the most important thing in the world, but it shows that he knows how to play the position already. Besides, he is on the Rivals 250 for 2010, as is Nick Jacobs.

It is subjective, and I am comparing HS to HS. Besides his grades, there were some that questioned how good Dez was in HS and for the next level. Said he was too slow, not quick enough, and didn't do enough after the catch.

Personally, I thought Dez Bryant did some damn impressive things in HS, he looked like a man amongst boys. Davis's skills jump at me nearly as much.

That was the first thought that popped in my mind. Looks very legit.

No, he was a wideout and Randall Mackey was the QB. He switched over to QB only for his senior year.

i haven't seen his video but his stats and offer sheet resemble RR's. this could be one hell of a wr class if we can pull in reed and wright as well.

Randle was playing alongside D Benton, no?

i have a feeling that we will sweat Davis' commitment out until signing day.

Ditto. Too many offers, too much time.

Randle was a sophmore when Benton was a senior.

Just because he is from Texas?

I wonder why Mack didn't offer him, but just based on the timing of his decision, he should be solid to us.
