yeah what throws me off is the fact he went from being a true freshman starter to the portal to land on a team where he's 100% going to be the backup through his sophomore year. Could he get some starts, sure - but he'll be holding a clipboard most of the year.
Don't get me wrong though, I appreciate him coming to LSU and I think between him and Hurley we've got one heck of a QB battle brewing for '26.
