the embassy will NOT allow kids from Africa to come here just to play sports. They have to go through an extensive interview process at the Embassy before being allowed to come here.

Amazing when you consider what is happening at our borders.

good one there redfish Again, I didn't get to PICK. At least Sean got to PICK his kid. But i'm not complaining. Hell, even a blind squirrel would have seen Michael Oher upside.

Liberty Magnet was my favorite team to watch this past season. I like Madison Prep, too.

They're on the radar but down the list. Clean, do you know or heard of a guy name Ron Briscoe from the Lafayette area?

I looked him up. He is well-known in the basketball world, but I don't think we've met.

I think you should get the kid to Liberty to play alongside Malek Robinson. I really like their coaching staff and program.

Scotlandville

Scotlandville was one of the more fun teams to watch during the 2023-24 season. They're very well-coached. 2025 PG Jamal Drewery is worth the price of admission.

Yes he is very well known in the basketball world, one of the Major players for NIKE Corporation. He was the NIKE scout for this region. I met him over 20 years ago, he invited me to become a scout back then for this area. I worked closely with him doing those years scouting basketball.

Yes I know about Malek, the goal is to have a supporting cast around him for the next 4 years.

You don't have to do that, I believe you. That's awesome, good luck to your son.

That's above my pay grade

Chris Lindo at Madison Prep would be a good big man to learn from.

Off topic, but who is Kori Wesley playing with this summer?

I saw Shaila Forman is back in action.

The United team with Asia Patin has been getting a lot of publicity.

They all play for the same organization, just different age groups.
