I think if we get him on campus we have a legit shot. He was going to drop FSU for OU but OU has an internal shite storm going on. He likes Texas but he still seems like he isn't completely sold. We get him on campus an we're 50/50 IMO.

That's anything but odd.

Is all of this information just LSU fans opinions after listening to his interviews, or do recruiting insiders really believe we have a chance at getting this kid? I'm not flaming, its a serious question.
The staff believes that we have an excellent chance at Mario.

Man, it would be fricking epic if we finish this class off with Kiel, Collins, Phillips, and Edwards. Just typing it is unbelievable.

He doesn't want to go to Texas. If he did, he would have either picked them first or would have switched his commit to them a while back.

He is obviously really questioning his choice of FSU, and who wouldn't after they go 8-4 in the suck-arse ACC and then look like garbage against ND in the Champs Sports Bowl.

Oklahoma is a good team, but his interest in them seems marginal, at best.

I really think we have a much better shot than many have thought throughout his recruitment. We're close to home, a perennial contender, have the best D-Line around which gets plenty of NFL interest. We have a great D Coordinator and a former NFL Dline coach. He would fit like a glove into our Defensive scheme and would be a star among stars, not a shiny rhinestone in a puddle of sewage.

I think after his visit, he is ALL LSU!!!

I think LSU has a shot but I expect him to end up at FSU.

When he visits I'll start to get excited but I have the feeling that FSU visit the week before is going to shut it down. Hopefully he still makes his visit.

He only visited Texas a couple of weeks ago and really got an inside look at the program and time with the new coaches there. He's not going to flip that quickly or at all until signing day or shortly before. Just because he hasn't flipped to Texas doesn't make his interest in them any less sincere nor does it make them any less 1 of the favorites to land him.
