Wrong. I am a person that looks at the situation objectively. Any person that looks in as an outsider can see that the turn around came from the play of the offense which Gus is responsible for. I am not saying Chiz has not done a good job, just that gus has done better.

I'm no AU fan but to an outsider it looks like AU was ALL offense this year and a lot of us attribute that to Malzahn.

He knows what everyone knows. USC is likely to get a death blow to that program. Doesn't mean he won't bolt for a better job.

I'm inclined to agree with that. I think Malzahn provided a much needed short term solution to our team's problems, but that Chizik will prove his worth in the long run.

1st, Gus is the only reason AU did anything this year and a major reason for the offensive recruits you have coming in.
If you have faith in Chizic, that's your right, but I don't think anyone else sees what you are basing that on.
I think the Gus-bus will have to take a job as a HC sometime soon. Too many opportunities and he's established himself as an OC.
I think LaTech would be a decent opportunity for him. He could probably ride Livas to a bigger opportunity in a year or two.

Disagree. It all starts at the top. Chizik put this staff together. Chizik is the UNQUESTIONED leader at AU. He is involved in all aspects of everything. He put together a spectacular staff. He is keeping them together and no one is going anywhere. Chizik is the one who is responsible for turning it around more than anyone. We do not hire Chizik, things are not going as well as they have (which is basically as well as is possible, considering the season was more of a success than expected by a pretty good margin and the recruiting class is shaping up as possibly the best in 20 years).

I agree that Chizik is the key because he is the head coach but without Trooper,Luper and Malzhan you guys would not be recruiting as well as you are and the offense(you guys only bright spot on the field)wouldn't be as good.Chizik is a defensive guy and he could do nothing with it.Better players will help tremendously and he has his assistants to thank for that.
