Malachi Dupre story from Spring Game

We were sitting basically an aisle across from the recruits. Middle of the first quarter, Chi and his friends were walking up the steps to sit down. I noticed Chi didn't have his pass around his neck.
The security guard comes to say these are for recruits and was asking him to leave until someone shouted, "hey moron do you know who that is?" I am guessing the old security must not keep up with LSU football

I mean, it's not like it was a packed house. 
If it's a recruiting seating area and a kid is having fun with the recruits, don't bother them. oh well. Malachi probably got a kick out of it.

I don't think anyone called him a moron. That sounds made up. I hope that our fanbase has a little more respect than that. The guy was just doing his job. So what if he didn't know what Dupre looked like.

why werent the signees on the sidelines anyway? 
why isn't there a sid crew there to be watching over them?
were there recruits nearby? don't think they'd think that was funny one bit.

I'm assuming because they can't be coached until the step onto campus this summer. Avoids the appearance of such

It doesn't take much to put on your security pass. Why not just wear it so this kind of thing doesn't happen also it would show your one of the people and don't consider yourself above it all, above the little people just trying to do their jobs. It's almost like inviting this situation to occur. Plus if someone really did call the security guard a moron, that shows no class.

Honestly I couldnt pick Malachi Dupre out of a crowded room. So Idk what is so dumb about the security guard doing his job.

exactly what i was thinking.....people make a big deal out of nothing...if you work for LSU FOOTBALL....you should know who the FOOTBALL players are...especially if you are guarding reserved recruit seats....i would think you would want to know who to tell they shouldnt sit there....just saying....

No offense to the security guard, but the guy was just doing his job, and Malachi looks like Steve Erkel. Heck, if you look at him, who the heck would think he'd even be around a football. Don't blame the guard, at all.
