we only have Toles (S) and Ricks (CB) left
all of the rumored "silents" are not DBs

Maybe coaches feel good about all the CBs signed last year...and are prioritizing a different position...

It probably has a lot to do with the fact that Stingley and Ricks have the two starting corner spots locked down for the next two years for sure (3 for ricks), with Flott, Jones and Ward behind them. Greene was an unexpected loss, so I expect them to take at least one more safety in this class.

This is the problem.
I understand we have a few silent commits - but from everything we've heard, they aren't DBs. Yet we keep losing and processing our DB commitments.
Unless we're somehow going to flip Williams/Ransom and land Ringo, this probably isn't going to turn out well.

Eric Reed is still out there
so is the Amik clone
but they certainly are not the big names that everyone thinks about when we "process" guys
