Hope she has a sister equally good. Then we could have the Pointer sisters making a little string music.

She's obviously not the answer. Team seems to be getting worse.

She needs to go now. She is overpaid and under produced since she has been here. I think she is getting 750K in a non revenue producing sport and having average at best success. Pay part of that money to coach O and and Coach Ball and go out and hire a really good women's highschool coach who would gladly take half that who would get you at least the same result. I thought Nikki was going to be a great hire when it happened and would put this program right back in the thick of it (not just making the tournament) but she hasn't and she has had long enough
I long for the Simone Augustus years also, but you cant refute her coaching record!! 7yrs-6 post season tournaments(UCLA&LSU) Also 2014-15 season only year she didn't reach 20 wins in her career! 750k seems a bit much but ALLEVA gave it to her! My complaint is lack of good quality post players

What baffles me is why we cant sign good classes. LSU has so much to offer. That iself should help tremendously. I mean she brought in some good classes at UCLA. She desperately needs a homerun hire this offseason. I think itll be the biggest hire of her career. We are in serious need for talent. Hopefully she figures it out

California has a huge talent pool and UCLA has to be one of the premier P12 programs, other that Stanford. LSU offers what a lot of schools offer. It is much more competitive now that years ago when only a handful of teams were good. But there is room for improvement on the recruiting fron t.

I agree that Cara Ursin MUST be a Lady Tiger, even tho Pointer is in the same class. We also just got a PG commitment from Jaelyn Richard-Harris of Houston, so we would be a little PG heavy, but that's okay. She also FINALLY got post commitments--one 6'6" and the other 6'5", her first posts in her tenure at LSU.

My bad, she did get Youngblood, who was suspended half of her 2 years here, not very effective when she did play, and transferred out after the 2 years.

Why didn't we offer the girl from Lacassine? Serious question. She's a physical guard and plays in a system made to get up and down the court.
