Yeah, the two biggest revelations for me from the first 2 exhibition games are 1.) Richard is a true PG facilitator with stout on-ball defense...

...and 2.) Zakiah Johnson's efficient post-play. I saw Z in one of the all-star games where she played guard/w, and she looked like a clone of Flau'jae. Fast-forward to now, and she has arguably earned the starting PF spot with a totally different game in the paint.

One other new face note: Bella Hines stated, last fall, that when she gets to LSU, she wants to break Poa's taking-charges LSU record. Sure enough, in two games so far, she's been knocked to the floor roughly 10 times. I've unofficially counted about 5 charges she's drawn. She has that knack, just like Poa did.

I hope Kim Mulkey is okay emotionally, she had a setback at Baylor and now faces an unknown because the AD who hired her is stepping aside. Landry really interfered in our program, very strange and unwise….

I wonder where Jerzy is in her recruitment and commitment. I'm thinking she is waiting for Lampley to announce then she will set her date. They seemed to be pretty close during their visit along with the other players. If Jerzey doesn't pick LSU I'd rather she pick UCONN.
