He's going to LSU, there's nothing Bama can offer the kid that LSU can't. And Bama cannot say the same about LSU.

Starting with Eric Reid (buddies), chance for early playing time, being close to home (mom and dad can come all the time) and the flagship school for his home state (pressure from piers).

It'll be speculated to be close to sell subscriptions by the media but rest easy, future LSU great is on the way BR.

Whats so funny about that statement? You think Bama offers more than LSU to a kid from Dutchtown?

He is right...Bama can't offer him any more. In fact, he probably has more for him at LSU if he decides to stay in Louisiana after sports...

Yeah< I think it is fricking hilarious. he soooooo sure that the kid is going to LSU. I wouldn't take anything for granted at this point.

Remember Saban is probably the greatest defensive mind in college football right now. I know he's the best DB coach. If I was a defensive player I would want to play for the best. Is he going to ALA? I have know idea but to say he's definitely coming here and they have nothing more to offer is absurd.

So LSU has problems sending people to the NFL now? What more can Bama offer than LSU? Saban may be a great DB coach but that Ron Cooper guy isn't a slouch either. Look at what he has done at LSU already finding unknowns like Claiborne and even before LSU. Cooper is probably one of the best DB coaches right beside Saban. If you look at it closely, LSU offers more than Bama...

Not just in sports but outside it too seeing as he is from Louisiana.

And hopefully that will be the clincher. Y'all think I'm being disloyal. I would loooooove for him to come to LSU but don't act like we are the only game in town either and that we are the best at everything.

I don't think its automatic but here's a case of a kid from LA who loves LSU and doesn't have any weird Trovon Reed nonsense going on. LSU is a great place to play football and has outstanding DB coaching. Plus the fact that he even mentioned his parents coming to games means you know his parents have some pull in the situation and sounds like they're in LSUs corner.

And obviously if football isn't his future LSU is a great fit academically.

Maybe I'm being naive, but I don't think so.

Well, considering our shitty QBs torched their secondary last year that's not saying very much.

He was definately out-coached in that game, even the Bama guys admit it.

Damn, that's got to be the most forward looking commitment date I have ever seen.

Is the day something special?
