Yea and if LSU did then you’d still have fans saying how just average they are too and LSU should be going after such and such instead lol

well, let's be honest... pretty much all of these guys, minus a few here and there, have been "just ok" up to this point in their careers, which is one of the reasons they are in the portal in the first place...
portal players are still a crapshoot, just like HS recruiting... the only difference is you have game film of them vs. actual college competition, so you can get a little better idea of what they may bring to the table...
just like HS recruiting a high graded portal player doesn't just automatically become a great player at his next program... most of them still need the proper coaching and sytstem to flourish in...
