There is also a Junior transfer from ULL that will probably see significant playing time in the infield next year. Torina says this girl has the quickest hands shes ever seen.

"IMO 2016 Lineup
1.) Landry CF L Jr.
2.) Griggs LF L So.
3.) Bell 2B R Sr.
4.) Jaquish DH/C R Jr.
5.) Sanchez SS R Fr.
6.) Kloss C/DH R Sr.
7.) Simmons 1B L Sr.
8.) Serrett 3B R Fr.
9.) Thymes RF L Fr.

Bench Options:
1.) Satchell UT
2.) Quinn 2B
3.) Bourg 2B

I think Thymes will get the nod at Right Field because Coach Torina likes to have a table setter at the bottom of the lineup and also Torina says Thymes will be one the fastest player ever to wear the LSU jersey. Maybe she will even get the nod in center Field. You may even see Kloss and Simmons change spots in the lineup because Coach Torina may not want Four Righties in a row."

If a freshman plays 3B, I don't think it will be her. She will be competing for SS or 2B imo of course

I also don't see the 3/4/5 in the lineup changing.

Randi Provost also will be eligible next year, good athlete.

I think Bell needs to move from SS. I think Torina should move bell to second. Sanchez is a typical SS/2B type player. Serrett is very athletic and can play anywhere in the infield. I think it makes it easy for Torina to play with but I am not sure if she is moving Jaquish quite yet. I think Satchell and Thymes will compete for RF.

I think next years team could be incredible. Being from the BR area I have seen Thymes play against my sister for the last few years. She is not a physical player at all and is quite small, I would guess about 5' tall. She has gained some bad weight over the last couple of years and it has slowed her down quite a bit. She was blazing fast in the past but at this point she is not nearly as fast as she was. Currently she would not be a top 4 or 5 runner on the LSU team. If she doesn't regain that speed and get significantly stronger she will struggle in my opinion. Without the speed she becomes a pretty average player. Hope I'm wrong but that is what I see when I run across her team playing.

Jaquish and Imcoming freshman Sanchez are playing together this summer with the Puerto Rico women's national team. Team headed to Pan-Americans Games.
