LSU Recently received a commitment from Shelbi Sunseri from Santa Fe TX. As a Freshman, she batted over .500 with 8 doubles and 1 HR.
Shelbi plays 1B and pitches as well.

Highly recruited prospect! Very good grab. Should develop a lot more power over the next few years.
Will be a much more powerful version of Sandra Simmons. If not she is an amazing all around pitcher, but with the amount of pitchers we are recruiting I see her more likely playing in the infield. She is versatile but players like her do not come around often.

Congrats Coach Torina. I truly believe she is currently the best coach in LSU athletics. As amazing as she is as a coach. She is an even better person. I hope we pay her more soon, shes worth every penny. I will keep everyone updated on more recruiting info.

After the softball season is over I will post about the class of 2016. This one is a pretty damn good one. You all have a lot to be excited about

Here you go...

The first two websites should get you going, but the third one you have to register to receive log-on credentials.

This database is very extensive by players and state.

The database below lists the Top 5 players in each state, aside from the Top H.S. in the nation.

You have to request logon credentials if you are a coach, etc.

It will be hard to find a player in the mold of Bell or Jaquish. But 357 is there anyone who may turn out close in these next classes?

Not 357 but the ss from Ga. Is the successor to Bell.

There is a junior catcher at STM Bailey Hemphill who will be better than Janquish, but she is going to Alabama. If the assistant coach Habetz at Bama takes another job before the fall signing period and Hemphill does not like that school LSU has a good shot. Otherwise, she will stick with the Tide.

Shemiah Sanchez, Taylor Satchell, and Amber Serrett are very good. We are in great hands people

Is there any rumor that coach might go elsewhere?

Also, players like Bianka Bell do not come around often. I expect a more powerful team over the coming years. The players we have coming in all are versatile at the plate and bring power

Thanks 357. Sounds exciting. Like yiu mentioned in one of your post i to hope we pay her what she is worth and think it more in line with the top SEC job. Remember she is a Florida grad so hopefully she somehow feels this is the place to be tk finish her coaching career. She is by far Aleva's best hire.

Didn't Habetz play at USL? I imagine she recruits Lafayette pretty well.

Torina will never leave LSU unless something major happens. She LOVES it here. Now the Florida coach isn't leaving anytime soon. Even if the Florida job was open, she has so much going here that it would be difficult to have to start over. Pitching will be good as ever over the next five years. Hitting will always be good under Dobson. We don't have to have a lot of HR's but we will always hit it hard. I assure you, Shemiah Sanchez, Taylor Satchell and Amber Serrett all are very good at the plate. Satchell hit 8 Homeruns her junior year. Sanchez has a lot of pop as well.
