re: LSU SOFTBALL Adds #3, #4 and #5 2026 Recruits

Sydney Gonglik: P/UTL Ranked #10
Jewel Cooper: C Ranked #29
Bryli Seifert: MIF Ranked #32
Hope Gaudio: MIF Ranked #61

the top 5 recruit was Kaylee Hodges, a RHP, out of VA. she is the reigning Virginia Gatorade player of the year and the #5 overall recruit in the class.

she did not commit, and has an upcoming visit with Tennessee. she doesn’t have any other visits scheduled right now so it appears it most likely be between us and The Lady Vols.

LSU has been recruiting her a lot longer than Tennessee, so I would think we are the favorite but Tennessee is a lot closer to home so it might come down to the visit this weekend of how things shake out

Unfortunate truth. As long as you don't fumble "badly" the Tiger Brand yields top recruits every year in the softball & baseball programs. Good timing for recruiting when the football program starts off with a great win like they did too.

For some reason we just can't mix the gumbo right on the dirt in the ladies' park. Maybe this year will be the year we get it right and return to OKC--definitely CANNOT lose in regionals.
