What I don’t particularly like about this potential hit piece, no coaches representing north Louisiana.
Always been this thing about NLA being neglected. I think this article would have more credibility if coaches were selected from the entire states, not just BR and south

Another myth
Not only was he bad at evaluating talent...he definitely did not lock the state down. This also plays into guys he passed up IN the state that turned out to be studs.

I couldn't help but notice this, too.
You are doing research on which LSU coach is best at locking down the state, and you interview six coaches, all of whom are I-10 corridor or below...
One third of the State's population is to the north of that line.
And the list of top players includes a good number of N. La. kids.

What do you think makes this a hit piece? I’m curious

Didn’t particularly see glowing feedback on BK. Just neglecting NLA should be evidence enough the article wasn’t about getting a true perspective on LSU. More about highlighting or cherry picking to get negative

Those classes were top 5 almost 300 point classes with studs and dudes with offers from every top school. I guess you know better than every service and coach. Put down the Crack pipe. Ed locked it up. His problem was that he couldn't coach. He recruited at a high level.

I’d love to see Ed recruit for LSU with a wide open NIL collective ready to wheel and deal.

Van Pran is the only guy you listed that wasn't in the year he was fired. Try again. Mason Smith, Roy, Guillory, Boutte, Ryan, BT, Hilton..all guys saban ran hard to get. Ed locked it up. Don't come with that weak he lost a center b.s.
