add WR Pat Patterson from MS

Thanks for the heads up. Looks to be a solid player.

Kenny Bell

I am also a little bit concerned about his weight. He does have legit height and speed, but he needs at least 15 pounds on him to be a legit SEC WR.

Except Toliver was the top rated WR in the country coming out of high school and had the frame to grow. Kenny Bell isn't as much of guarantee.

Patrick Lewis, 6-2 310 OL from ESJ will likely get an offer...

IMO we take three OL this year..Two are virtual locks and one up in the air..

Chris Faulk (lock)
Carneal Ainsworth (lock)
Patrick Lewis (I believe he is our third guy)

Josh Downs might be the 3rd instate guy. He's a Helmes type workhorse.

There are just a ton of HBs in state this year. LaDarius Abrams, Deante Triplett, Cerderrick Tyson, Vincent Collins, etc. How about Dalton Hilliard, Jr.?

Tru dat, he slipped my mind, he is definitely in the running for a spot...Hell we may end up taking all four guys depending on how the scholarships shake out..

Rex had 1800 yards rushing and 500+ receiving with 34 total TD's this year. Burkhead is currently 5'11.5 and about 196, with a frame to put on 30 and keep his speed. He played QB for the last 6 games his soph year. The kid was dunking two handed as a 5'7" freshman so he is an incredible athlete with great instincts, hands and work ethic. He probably running in the low 4.5's right now with a 37 vertical and a sub 4 second shuttle, and I haven't seen him caught from behind with the pigskin in his hands, so I wouldn't sell him too short. The last time I checked with his family he was holding offers from Auburn, Texas Tech, Minnesota, TCU, Virginia, Stanford, CAL and about four others I can't remember. He was suppose to attend the 1st Texas JR day but moved it to the 23rd and is suppose to visit Notre Dame. I believe his dad was a fullback in the Dolphins camp in 92 with one of the coaches at Notre Dame. Look, the kid is getting recruited in basketball and he hasn't played baseball in a year and he might still get drafted. Burkhead brings it everytime he steps on the field.

I think Julius Warmsley is considered better.

Now how exactly can you make a statement like that?

Different kinds of DE's. Warmsley is more of a corner rusher, Jones more of a all-around end.

Look, all I can tell you is I have seen the kid dunking two handed behind his head in basketball and I have seen him play football and baseball, so I really don't care what some electronic jump pad (which are POS anyway, that is why we don't use them anymore) have him at over a year ago.

His video looks pretty good...

Is this a Katrina kid by any chance?

Thanks...

John Martinez, OL UT said:

He plans to attend the Trojans summer camp again this year and will also be at the LSU summer camp as well. Last fall he was at the LSU/Arkansas game and came away extremely impressed. "The environment there is amazing," he said. "They had like 90,000 people there and I've never experienced anything like that before. The fans are amazing and they just worship football. It's seriously like a religion for them."

And that's not premium info. It's an open article here.

Claims we're one of the favorites but says USC and Miami are recruiting him "the hardest." He says they send him handwritten letters.

Sounds like it's gonna be tough to beat out USC for the kid but not impossible.
