Gotcha. I, like a few others, haven't heard much about this kid. If we're still planning on taking Evans, Guillory, Harris, and Dumervil, I'm curious who gets left out.

The guys who have gotten late offers from LSU last several years balled out their senior year then went on to play well at LSU.

I was defending Berry throughout the off season, but I've read several reports saying hes not taking care of himself and he's got a big head. I saw a tweet he put out after his first game calling out Kendall Milton because he tackled him. Then somebody said "shut up you didnt do shite." He responded with "Bitch I'm going to LSU, I've already done shite." So Ive lost all respect for him because he hasn't proved shite, and he always has a shitty attitude in every video I see.

Sounds like LSU is pretty much out of it for Ojulari and Webb. And I really liked Webb, wanted him bad. Not really sold on Cooper at this time. Just doesn't look as quick off the ball as Webb or Ojulari. But, if Aranda likes him, I will trust the staffs evaluation.

So, you don't respect the kid because he said that he's not committed to LSU for no reason. There was no arrogance in that statement. He was talking smack to another player. He should be proud that he tackled Milton.

LINK

Here's the link to the tweet referenced by RadarTiger. Obviously, Radar's cliff notes were not at all accurate. Looks like friendly smack talk to me.

Id say hes probably closer to the 6'3 he list himself at on HUDL than 6'1. This is also probably why his film dont impress much, he stands straight up almost immediately after the snap and runs very upright. However, when he puts his head down to go make a play he has great closing speed. This combined with his size is probably what Aranda loves, and coaches always feel like they can work out the kinks. Personally I trust Aranda's judgement, but his hips seem a little tight to be a be a real player. Rahssan Thorton type to me.

Coached against his team for years, I am glad that he is no longer a player we have to game plan for! Hope hes a Tiger, he is an unbelievably tough kid and a terror to watch on film from the opposing coaches point of view.

I'm all for this. Saban's LSU strategy was if two guys were equal to take the guy from Louisiana over OOS because the in state guy would play harder for the state school. I hate Saban but totally agree with him on this. Take the best guys from Louisiana. Playing for LSU means more for them.

I think Saban's real tactic was take the Louisiana guy because it entrenches the pipeline to his school.
