St. Paul's Episcopal (Ala.) defensive lineman Ryan Johnson picked up an LSU offer on Wednesday night. Johnson announced the offer along with an offer from Nebraska on his Twitter page. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Johnson also holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Ole Miss and Tennessee among others. ESPN has Johnson pegged as the No. 8 defensive tackle and the No. 105 overall player in the country. Rivals rates Johnson as the No. 6 strongside defensive end in the Class of 2017 and the No. 196 player overall. Both services, along with 247 Sports, rate Johnson as a four-star prospect

DC has been recruiting Mobile since Fla St, he can finally get us back into Alabama with a chance to close with some top guys, we've missed being able to recruit Mobile since Saban got to bama. Hiring DC was a great hire on several levels
