But this was during the Saban days when the relationship between Saban and the Evangel staff wasn't exactly good.

Yes he did. Saban really liked him and he would have played a ton at LSU had he not had a major shoulder injury while at LSU the first week of Spring Practice back in 2004. He is the OC at Evangel now.

It goes back even further to when Dinardo was with LSU. I was in the audience at a sports banquet and the head coach was just frank in telling everyone that he couldn't recommend LSU to any of the Evangel players.

Thanks bud. It should be really fun. I have a lot of athletes to use and this year and next could be very special for our offense and our team. We have the potential to be very, very explosive on offense.
