It gives equal credit to all of them

from what I read about bama's '19 recruiting class. they showed 27 signees. two backcounted to the '18 class and two more actually didn't sign LOI. one will greyshirt and the other was a QB that's the bear's grandson/great grandson. The Qb is considered a walkon for now.
that totals 23 for the '19 class. Thus allowing them to sign 27 for the '20 class and backcount two to the '19 class.

Supposedly, they took 27 last year but only signed 25.I don't completely understand how that translates to 27 again this year.
I’ll explain it to you. Bama has a smart, hard-working coach. When new rules come out Saban probably sits down with three or four lawyers and works on loopholes that allow him to take advantage of the rule.
Even though I was against the Orgeron hire I’m fairly pleased with his performance. But my original objection holds true. The man is not a good enough administrator to keep all the balls he’s juggling in the air. He’ll recruit, and he’ll work on the problem du jour, which is one step better than Miles was doing, but he can’t close the gap on Bama. He’ll beat them eventually, but to really overtake them we have to wait for complacency to overtake Saban. It should happen soon; the guy is turning 68 in October.
