I agree with this. I think OL has been the 2nd most problematic unit with us in recent years behind QB. QB looks to be in good shape now, we hope, and I think Grimes is gonna take this unit to another level next year while improving incoming talent through recruiting.

According to Max Olson, they love the academics there...? Im not really sure how to decipher that

I like our chances with these guys

I might be incorrect on this but I coulda swore when both of these guys committed to texas months ago we were thought by many to have finished 2nd. Am I remembering that correctly?
Yes that's correct.
As for the weight thing, I didn't follow recruiting until I got to LSU. I saw Mingo during his redshirt year, had no clue who he was, and thought there was absolutely no way someone that skinny could play linebacker, much less D End.

Good to hear. But on the flip side. Who are we missing on to have an available scholly?
Posted on 2/1/14 at 8:24 pm to TheWalrus
Maybe this is the flip Jacory was talking about, would certainly be a big flip because I'd assume both would flip at the same time.

Like the aggressiveness of the staff, but this seems like a last ditch effort/longshot.

Maybe we feel as if Clark will flip to OU,in which I don't blame him.

Clark gone.

A double flip. I like the sound of that.

Just an FYI: Sione is good friends with Trey Leal.
And the brothers are a packaged deal, from what I understand - not to say they're LSU's to lose.

I may just be getting my hopes up, but this sounds like it may be it. The popular rumor was that he was talking about LMAO, but technically that wouldn't be a flip because he decommitted.

And I think they have a cousin who is a 4 star 2015 OG
Posted on 2/1/14 at 8:41 pm to NGATiger
The fact this this has been kept hush hush gets me excited
How nervous would we all be if Trey Quinn was randomly announced to be at Ole Miss right now without the LSU coaches knowing?

Gage committed with the understanding that he would greyshirt if a spot was needed.

You have to think they reached out to LSU with them visiting so late. If they were truly committed, don't see why they would come in this late. With us being 2 behind UT originally, I like our chances

Plus apparently they have already been here apparently, so this could be a "make sure before we pull the trigger" visit.

They were here and the older brother almost pulled the trigger
