Story

quote:

The Spanish Fort (Ala.) offensive weapon has seen his recruitment take off following an explosive 2017 season, resulting in double-digit scholarship offers, but he's trimmed his list all the way down to one over the last several days.

The Tigers offered him just before he took a visit to Baton Rouge on Saturday and on the way back home he knew the SEC West program would be his pick, one made public on Wednesday afternoon. "Well when I visited there I already knew I wanted to go to LSU," Abrams-Draine said.

"They treated me like family... "When I was on my way home after the visit me and my mom was talking about it and she said she really likes it."

Hope it sticks but at least good to know that the staff seems to be saying the right things to these guys when they come visit.

That dude is nasty on those highlights to say he was in 10th grade. Man 2 more football seasons. He’s gonna be lethal.

Of course two years is a long time but this is great news.

I am noticing that all the recruits are mentioning the family feel. Even with the coaching changes it seems as though they are all on the same page with the same message.

I just hope O has a backup plan

see 2018 DB's class.

You talking about him moving a 4-star safety signee back to a position that he was rated as a 5-star - cornerback?

Sounds like a hell of a backup plan to me. LSU was only going to take one CB anyway. They now have a 5-star CB for the 2018 DB class.

I welcome it. Hell, I look forward to it. It is pretty damn hard to bash information that is based solely on FACT.

There are 3 types of posters...Sunshine pumpers, Nega-Tigers, & people that speak the truth.

The problem is that Sunshine Pumpers will deem you a nega-tiger if the truth isn't positive.

Truth = opinion, in that context

All we know is LSU got a committment(truth) and most of the thread is unreadable bullshite from angry people who have no idea how solid this kid will be.

No, it is also very true we lost a lot of commitments that have been early out of state and in state. Pessimism has real backbone herem it is not without merit. That, is the truth.

Congrats on your decision!

Otherwise, sorry kid. Most LSU fans hope it holds true. But please do realize that not all LSU fans are the total DBs you've seen here. That's just the vocal, and miserable, minority.

He's only a sophomore. He'll change his mind many times.
