His offer sheet looks promising

His offer sheet looks promising.
And here’s a story on him: On3
Since then, they lost to Fulshear, a perennial playoff team 38-28. I can’t find the stats for that game. Waller is 6A about 50 miles outside of Houston in the middle of nowhere

It’s become increasingly clear that Waller (Texas) four-star quarterback Tristin Gaines is one of the top passers in the 2028 cycle. He has been as advertised and then some through the first three games of his junior season. The Bulldogs improved to 3-0 last week, going on the road and notching a 47-24 victory vs. Conroe. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Gaines was at the heart of the offensive attack, totaling 507 yards and five touchdowns. He threw for 426 passing yards and four touchdowns to go with 81 rushing yards and another score on the ground. For the season, Gaines has now thrown for 889 yards and 11 TDs. On the feet, he’s totaled 258 yards and a score on just 15 carries.

It's a little misleading...
Waller might be about 50 miles from downtown Houston, but Houston is fricking huge. Parts of Waller are in the same county as Houston (Harris) and Waller is considered a suburb of Houston.
I wouldn't say it's in the middle of nowhere is all I'm saying...

I guess. But I don’t really count Katy, Tomball, or The Woodlands as part of Houston either. Heck, Conroe and Cut and Shoot are closer to Houston than Waller.
