LSU has a great shot to land Jarvis Jones...

Columbus (Ga.) Carver linebacker Jarvis Jones has named his top seven schools. But there is much more to Jones' recruiting situation than is public.
First off, it looks like a sure bet that Jones will leave the state of Georgia despite the continued efforts of the Georgia coaching staff to keep him "home." Georgia has put on a full-court press from the start (they sent seven coaches to his spring game), but he has other teams on his mind.
Sources say the teams to beat for Jones (6 feet 3/226 pounds) are Florida and LSU, with USC and Texas having outside shots. Jones has set an official visit to Texas and will take an official to USC, but it's going to be hard to pull him away from the SEC. Jones wanted to attend at least two and possibly three Florida home games this season, but it doesn't look as if it's going to happen because he plays some of his games on Saturdays and while most sources say the Gators are the best bet, some think it's LSU.
Still looks like Florida is the team to beat for him but if they land him, expect Bostic to take a hard look at LSU. Just thought everyone would like to know considering their hasn't been much talk about him on these boards.

considering the rumors are heavy that bositc really really likes LSU and Jones is taking a really hard look at us, maybe harder than a lot of people let on i think we will land at least one. we're literally pulling kids out of florida that the big three are hot on and doing the same in Ga, Tx and Miss.

Yea man I love the frickers who get their info from Rivals and Scout and claim to be insiders. From what I have heard Bostic really likes LSU and we have a good of a chance as anyone to sign him.
