Judging looking favorable so far...one judge threw Kiya a “perfect” 9.95 for a vault with a hop up on her toes...and Ruby got one ten for hers with knees clearly bent. Thanks judges!

I don't like LSU getting this type of over scoring as its a bad look. I want the scores to be earned. I. hate over scoring no matter who the team is.
We had a good vault rotation, we were more like a 49.300 , not a 49.400.
I had 9.90 for Kiya and a 9.925 type vault for Ruby. Ruby never should get a 10 with her bent knees on vault.
At the same token, all the people on the gym page on FB should shut up, all of them are hypocrites always giving LSU a hard time with their scores but ignore obvious ones for their teams (UCLA, OU, Florida, Georgia among others).

I agree those are the correct scores...but if the other top teams are getting that same sort of over scoring, it’s going to be hard to keep up. Dean was also way over scored on bars.

Been begging for this since day one. She has all the tools to score well but her 'lay out' is not even laid out. Its extremely piked.
Realistically with judging, its always going to get hit with deductions so I think they should change it. I don't know if she can do a full out but I think we should explore other options. I always hold my breath thinking she won't get it around.

Or just actually say hey it's a layout pike....I think its actually in the code of points as a D level dismount.....better than losing .2 for improper form

her dismount is bizarre
She starts out kinda laid out, but then in the middle its very piked and then it. changes again before she lands. Its not even a true layout or pike.

It’s the same technique jay used with both Sarah and Lexie. It’s a hollowed first salto, then the chest pulls the second salto and then the legs snap down for the landing. Alyona just isn’t as open in the hips and it’s causing the pike down - but it’s getting there. Friday night was the best i have ever seen her do any dismount in Elite or College.

On a side note, some have been very critical of Christina Desiderio on these strings. I think it’s important to point out how amazing and conditioned she looks on floor. That double lay has been the best it’s ever been.

Well there is a dramatic difference watering down the routine as well. That makes the biggest difference IMO.
Desiderio has certainly worked hard to be the best shape she can be given her injuries. LSU is a much better team with her out there.

College Fans ARE HERE was all over Kennedi's floor routine. Some of the members in this group continue to harp long after the subject should be done.They don't seem to ever do this with other teams that receive scores that weren't worthy of the routine. The administrators need look at what a hate fest this group has become.

I don’t go onto that page anymore, they are all hypocrites. I do agree LSU was over scored Friday. Edney s mistake should be counted as a fall and the judges are incompetent in general. They gave Kiya a 9.925 on a full with a micro hop in place, you cannot give a 9.95 for that. It’s just a bad look for us and the sport in general. Same with all of Nichols mistakes but somehow gets 10s.
I just think it’s worse because edney decides to run her mouth on social media weeks before about scoring.

It's amusing to me that this group of bullies always zero in on LSU. Over scoring and underscoring is present with most every team in the NCAA.
On a different note, DD should seriously consider changing some of the leaps on beam and floor. It is frustrating when built-in leap deductions are making the difference between getting a 9.8 or 9.9 on routines. I have to wonder if there is anyone that points this out to the coaches.

I actually removed myself from the the College Fans are Here page yesterday. For my sanity and blood pressure, I couldn't do it anymore. But, as the saying goes, people only despise and try to tear down the things they don't have... so we must be doing something right
