I thought LSU had a shot, they were pushing for this one, unlike Zoe Molomo who LSU didn’t seem fully committed but still recruiting at the same time

For me personally, I’m honestly surprised when anyone commits to Florida under Jenny Rowland especially after the fact whole Nya and Sav situations and Jenny’s teams historically underperforming at nationals since the took over (when they should have at least 3 more nattys by now) especially if LSU is an option but that’s just me

Duke just committed to Oklahoma. No clue how they even have a scholarship or a spot open for them unless they’re forcing a medical for someone who’s a current freshman/senior commit

TB, who is left other than Hang and Rose that would be at least three eventers for LSU?

Hezly gives LSU an elite AA for class so you hope to surround her with a couple of kids who can give 2-3 events

Annalisa definitely can see her being a contributor on vault/floor, she is a powerful gymnast so talent is there to do very well. She has two more years to clean up and grow. A couple of LSU's 2025 commits took big leaps the year after they committed (Wenner and Mustari)

Malea is a bit more raw, little more unsure where she would potentially contribute.

As far as recruits left on board, Hang, Rose, Finnel and Fine, maybe Orlando (L10) are the only ones that stand out so far not sure about much out of that. LSU was definitely hoping to get more than Hezly from that recruiting weekend tbh

Duke going to OU isn't a shocker, BUT someone will have to be forced to medically retire or transfer based on their future roster, they are now over the limit.

Well our only hope is hezley doesnt come in too banged up nor do the twins (who continue to improve) and we get a big class next year ala Oklahoma style.

Well, we still have hope for Jayla Hang 5 star and Simone Rose 4 star to visit and hopefully be impressed with the LSU Program. I am concerned that Jayla may be leaning toward Stanford from what I have heard .

Alicia Zhou 5 star, Simone Brown 5 star, Shae Orlando 4 star and Ella Fine 4 star have not made a commitment.

Shea Orlando to Michigan. I had hoped she’d at least visit LSU.

Anyone know if there are visits this weekend?

Considering the other schools Orlando visited were Stanford and Cal (those 2 plus Michigan being 3 of the top schools in the country for academics and athletics), it’s pretty clear that academics was/is a HUGE deal for her in selecting a college and LSU isn’t known for being one of the most academically rigorous institutions

I hope we have Jayla and Simone coming soon before they decide to shut down visits and make a commitment. I really thought with the success this year that there would have been more interest in joining the program to be honest.

It’s weird for sure but 24/25 classes are incredibly strong LSU can survive an off recruiting year with a commitment from an Olympic gold medalist who alone is a major boost. Obviously there is the portal to potentially supplement at spots at times even though it remains to be seen who actually enters it

Annalisa Milton the more I watch her the more it’s looking like a great pickup. She has the talent and skills to do quite well on 2-3 events in college as she continues to polish up and develop.

I don’t think Malea will really compete or be much of a factor in the lineups as of now, but her sister was def a good pickup for sure. It felt like a lot of her recruitment was due to everyone wanting Annalisa to me…
