lol no

DD is only 60 years old, she probably has another 5 years at least, she has some absurd classes coming in and she's finally seeing the benefits of the new facilities on the program. They have a good system rolling right now, with Ashleigh Clare-Kearney creating the floor routines, Bob is great vaulting coach, Jay has improved bars which used to be a weakness before, talent level has never been higher in program history which is needed to compete/be in the hunt for national titles

After DD retires, the job is Jay Clarks if he wants it... if not I am sure they will all do research to find someone else in particular.

Everyone seems extremely happy right now and love what they are doing, so we could see this rolling for an unforeseen amount of time, which wouldn't be a bad thing

That's a double in the video you posted, right? I'm so bad at counting twists. They happen so fast.

What are these gyms able to provide that smaller gyms cannot do? Is it just better coaching or equipment?

Just curious since the same disparity does not appy in football and basketball when comparing small schools to large schools.

Both of my girls go to WOGA, so I can speak from this perspective. Yes, the coaching is far and above the biggest factor. At these gyms, you:

A) have girls that are competing at the highest level, Elites, National, Olympians, etc
B) coaches who have competed and or coaching at this level
C) resources

The bigger gyms typically have higher tier coaches that can be more selective. For example, tons of kids go to the WOGA sites, but within the gym, there are select groups for the girls on the program or track.

For an example, my oldest is 9 and she is competing lvl 8. Her old gym would not have her this advanced at this age.
