Article by Crescent City Sports' Rene Nadeau.
Another elite recruit, Woodbridge, Va. inside linebacker Antonie Sampah (6-3, 220), took in the sights and sounds of Tigertown.
Defensive end Jay Hardy (6-4 1/2, 265) from Chattanooga
Braiden McGregor (6-5, 248), another top defensive end out of Port Huron, Michigan, was also on LSU campus
Linebacker Jaheim Thomas (6-5, 222), a 4 star prospect from Princeton High in Cincinnati, Thomas’ prep teammate, defensive tackle Darrian Henry (6-6, 260), is another 4 star that the Tigers secured a visit from this weekend
There are write-ups on each of the players who visited as well as:
Nose tackle Jacobian Guillory (6-2, 331) from Alexandria Senior High
Guillory’s Alexandria teammate, defensive back JaDarius “Bud” Clark (6-1, 170)
Defensive tackle Branard Wright (6-3, 300), a 4 star from Dallas(says LSU leads). Meatball Johnson has helped make the Tigers the favorite.
Outside linebacker Josh White (6-1, 200), a 4 star Houston prospect
Offensive tackle Brady Ward (6-7, 325) from Mobile, Alabama
Jaden Navarette (6-3, 230) is listed as an athlete from Norco, California. LSU holds lead over USC at this time
Miller Merriweather-Lewis (6-3, 298), a 4 star offensive guard from Ocala, Florida
And others.

The LSU recruiting class continues to build with the addition of Demon Clowney. The coaching staff celebrated a bountiful weekend with a half dozen top rated visitors and there are more to come.

The top offensive tackle in the 2020 class, Paris Johnson, was on campus. The 6-7, 295 pounder out of Cincinnati has already committed to Ohio State (June 2018), but Urban Meyer has departed Columbus since then. Perhaps the door will fully reopen.

This is the recruiting board. I have a high degree of reverence for it.
Unlike the Rantard board, you can still come to this one and get relevant information about LSU.

Rene Nadeau gets his info from Jimmy, Sonny and Shea, so the info is good.

Wow look how quickly Ed O and LSU has went nationwide recruiting and I think we have a great shot at many of these guys. Momentum is building something furious down on the bayou. I think it’s lining up perfectly to make a run in 2019 and hit national recruiting hard. I’ve been waiting for LSU to do this for a very long time. Why we haven’t taken advantage of the past successes long ago is a little mind boggling to me. LSU is loved by players around the country, IMO more so than Bama and many others. I love it. This will put immense pressure on the top 10 Louisiana recruits as well.
Have to start landing those 6’7” 290 lb top HS OT’s. We have proved that we can get the best OG’s. Have to start landing these top HS DE’s and ILB’s on top of that. Looks like Ed O is expanding his net to be able to more easily accomplish this. Hopefully we are successful with the OOS top end recruits because I think that can change things for LSU for good. We start having success nationwide like we have been in the region and it won’t be long before this whole thing is completely turned around. LSU football is on the upswing, no doubt about it.

Good luck getting the shitheads on the rant to see it.
