LSU fans asking why hasn’t LSU offered Curly Reed and Jordan Matthews?

A fan tweeted that Curly from Lake Charles Prep and Jordan Matthews are must gets. Scarborough on Tiger Bait responded that Matthews really turned some coaches heads with his play this spring but both players have yet to receive offers from LSU.

247 says they both have offers, but Scarborough probably knows better. Pretty shocking if they don't have offers given their respective rankings.

The last staff offered and loved Matthews but the new staff is not recruiting him that hard at the moment

Matthews has an offer. The staff was at Woodlawn multiple times in the spring to see he and Rickie Collins. Reed isn’t progressing very well after ACL injury.

I thought someone on here said they just aren't that high on him.
Who knows if that is true. They do seem to be slow playing him.

Some kids with offers don't really have offers. So many of them are time conditional or just "interest" offers. The board of guys we'd actually take at this time is maybe a quarter of the "offers" we've given out.

After watching the skills camp I’m wondering the same tbh. Turnout was low, energy was low, complaints and rumbling/no shows were high.
